James is 29 and lives in London. He came to believe in Jesus at a young age and grew in his understanding of God and his desire to worship while at the Vineyard church in Putney. Whilst studying at Chelsea Art School when he was 19 James made his first real attempt at song writing, the result was What Love is This? which was featured on the Holy album. From this worship song many more have followed. Songs such as Lift Up My Gaze, All Hail Jesus, Nothing in This World, Two Sins (Jeremiah 2v13), Maranatha, Led Like a Lamb, Whole Self, You Are Worthy, Undivided and You’re Sending Me have become part of the worshipping life of churches all over the world. James has sung and played on a number of Records and has had songs featured on Vineyard Records, Maranatha Music and Furious Records albums. James has led worship at Vineyard Conferences, H13 Worship Evolution, the Keswick Convention and in churches in this country and across the globe. In his spare time James enjoys going to gigs, art galleries, football matches and really anything that involves drinking tea!
